Dayglow kicked off his 20th show of his self-titled north american tour in Detroit on
October 16th. Opening the fun-filled night was the surf rock band, Sun Room, from southern
california. Members, Luke Asgian, Ashton Minnich, Max Pinamonti, and Thomas Rhodes
wowed the crowd with their chill rock and roll vibes and beachy guitar tones. The band gained
popularity from their first EP, Sol Del Sur, released in 2020 and has captured the attention of
fans across the world ever since. To celebrate the release of their latest EP, Can’t Explain, Sun
Room turns up the energy of their set by playing “Get Me out of New York City” and “Cadillac”,
leaving the fans wanting more.
After a fantastic pre-show playlist, fans were ready for the main act of the night, Slone
Struble, aka Dayglow built even more anticipation for the night ahead by playing the first song in
the dark then exploding the room with color and sound as he began his second song of the set.
Dayglow carried that upbeat, dancey energy throughout the entire show while cracking jokes in
between songs from all four of his albums. Each night of the tour, Slone steps out on the stage
wearing a custom t-shirt containing a Dayglow pun. Detroit’s unique shirt says, “Daytroit
Michiglow”. Rounding out the set with his hits, Dayglow created a remarkable evening for all
fans at the Fillmore that night.
